Yellowcard, the early 2000s pop-punk band famous for such songs as Ocean Avenue and Only One, have announced that they will be breaking up.
The band will, however, perform one final show in Australia in February 2017, travelling across Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
They will be celebrating almost two decades as a band, as well as releasing their tenth and final record on September 30.
Recorded knowing that it will be their last, the band have stated that this final album will create a “lasting finale for this incredible story.”
Yellowcard’s last tour in Australia was in July 2015 with Mayday Parade and have built a loyal fan base. This time around, they will be touring with Swedish band Like Torches.
Tickets for the show go on sale Thursday July 7 at 10am.
