The wax figure of Peter Dinklage was unveiled for the first time by Madame Tussauds in San Francisco on Tuesday.
“I didn’t believe this was real,” the Game of Thrones star said.
“I haven’t told anyone but my wife because maybe I’m going to just invite them to San Francisco and freak them out.”
Madame Tussauds’ artists and sculptors created the figure by studying, measuring and capturing everything they could of the actor. It reportedly took 20 artists and four months to develop it.
“With the upcoming ‘Game of Thrones’ season premiere, we felt it was the perfect time to reveal Peter Dinklage’s wax figure. We are excited to share his figure with the show’s legions of fans,” the General Manager of Madame Tussauds, Chris Connors said.
The figure, which is worth approximately $350,000, will be a permanent fixture at the San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf location.
The sixth season of Game of Thrones begins on April 24.
