Wife of Paul Daniels, Debbie McGee Talks about Their Happy Life Together

Paul DanielsLegendary TV personality Paul Daniels died on Thursday morning at the age of 77 and his wife has spoken out about their marriage and happy life.

Debbie McGee, who was with her husband at the time of his death, described that their life was “like a fairytale” in her first interview since his death.

She stated that he spent his final moments eating his favourite Magnum ice cream in the sun and that their final ten days had been full of laughter until he fell into a sleep 48 hours before he passed away.

McGee, who met Daniels when she was his assistant on his hit magic show in 1988, said that their marriage was that of dreams and they were very happy together.

McGee explained that what attracted her to her husband was his sense of humour and the unselfish way he celebrated other people’s talents.

Daniels died due to a brain tumour and chose to spend his final weeks at his home in Wargrave, near Reading.

After his death, social media was aflame with tributes from around the world, including his sons and other family members, along with many of the friends he made over the years.
