New Upcoming Disney Films Announced

DisneyDisney has released it next line up of classic films with more updates on originals, added sequels and more original content.

The entertainment organisation has many new films in the development stages, including a refreshed version of everyone’s favourite flying elephant, Dumbo.

Tim Burton, who directed Alice in Wonderland and The Nightmare Before Christmas, will direct the film and Ehren Kruger will be writing the script.

Emily Blunt has been named to star in a sequel to Mary Poppins and Angelia Jolie will return to star in Maleficent 2.

Reese Witherspoon will be starring in A Tinker Bell film (title not yet known) and the film studio has already prepared for a The Jungle Book 2.

Other films on the cards are: Cruella, A Wrinkle in Time, Jungle Cruise and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

Don’t forget there are also still three Disney films all set to hit the cinemas over the next year: Alice Through the Looking Glass (July 14, 2016), Beauty and the Beast (March 17, 2017) and Pete’s Dragon (September 15, 2016).
