Madeleine LeBeauFrench film actress Madeleine LeBeau has died at the age of 92.

LeBeau had a long and eventful life as she fled Nazi-occupied Europe in her youth for Hollywood.

She chased the spotlight and started her acting career in the romance drama Casablanca.

The veteran actor died from complications spanning from a broken thigh bone in Estepona, Spain on May 1.

She was the last surviving actor from the 1942 film, which launched her career and is renowned as one of the world’s must watched films.

However, she didn’t stick to a life long acting career, as she retired from the industry in the late 1960s for life in Rome after making the fantasy-comedy drama 8 ½.
