Kate Upton is going to tie the knot with longtime boyfriend Justin Verlander.
The 23-year-old model got engaged to the Detroit Tigers pitcher before the sport season began in early April.
She showed off her engagement ring, which her fiancé designed, on the 2016 Met Gala red carpet on Monday.
“We’ve been keeping it on the down low for quite a while,” she told E! News.
“So I’m excited to finally be able to share it with the world!”
The couple dated for three years before the 33-year-old popped the question and she told the media they are not in a rush to get married.
Verlander told Forbes magazine, the couple had a “normal relationship.” They are always supportive of each other.
“We’re just normal people. You know, a normal relationship—believe it or not.”
The two seem to have a lot in common, including a love for animals.
“Justin is definitely an animal lover but he is definitely holding me back from my 10 dogs,” Kate said.
