Kate Beckinsale will be starring in the new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Love & Friendship.
The British actress plays Lady Susan Vernon, a widowed and suddenly penniless noblewoman with a teenage daughter. She tries to fit into the 18th-century English society to secure a better future for herself and her daughter.
Love & Friendship also stars Chloe Sevigny, Xavier Samuel, Morfydd Clark, Tom Bennett, Jenn Murray, Stephen Fry and Sophie Radermacher and is directed by Whit Stillman.
