Actress and pop star Hailee Steinfeld is working with Joe Jonas’ new band DNCE to produce a new version of her latest single.
The single, Rock Bottom was first released as one of the songs on her EP compilation HAIZ and turned out to be a hit for the actress-turned-pop-star.
Last year, Steinfeld and Jonas made headlines when the media believed an April Fools prank saying that they were expecting a child together.
They did not deny the news which confused both the media and their fans.
Jonas recreated the prank during Steinfeld’s recent appearance on Smallzy’s Surgery, an Australian Radio show on Nova 96.9 FM.
He called into the show pretending to be a British fan and asked the singer if she could send him some of her toenail clippings in the mail.
When the host asked for a legitimate question, Jonas continued, “What was it like working with DNCE and that Joe Jonas?”
Steinfeld, who seemed to be in on the joke, “I think they took a lot away from it, actually. You know, Joe sings the whole second verse, which means I’m not singing it, so that kinda sucks, but whatever.”
