Rihanna Joins Cast of Female ‘Ocean’s Eleven’

Ocean’s ElevenOcean’s Ocho, the all-female spin-off of Ocean’s Eleven is currently in the works and is set to be just as star-studded as the original.

Script co-writer Gary Ross, and Olivia Milch will helm the film and reportedly, seven of the eight main roles have already been cast.

Rihanna is the newest addition to the team and she will star alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina, leaving one spot remaining.

Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the 2001 Ocean’s Eleven remake, will produce the new film when production begins in October.

This won’t be Rihanna’s first or final acting gig as she is also set to play Marion Crane in the fifth season of Bates Motel, as well as being the subject of an upcoming Peter Berg documentary.
