Beyoncé Nominated For 11 MTV Video Music Awards

BeyoncéBeyoncé has been nominated for 11 MTV Video Music Awards!

The singer faces stiff competition with Adele, who is nominated for eight awards thanks mainly to her single Hello from her album 25.

Beyoncé’s Formation is nominated for Best Pop Video, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Choreography, with the superstar gaining a second entry in that category for her Sorry video.

Her track Hold Up landed in the Best Female Video and Best Art Direction category, while her song Freedom featuring rapper Kendrick Lamar, scored a nomination for Best Collaboration.

Lemonade, which debuted in a TV special in April is nominated in the Breakthrough Long Form Video category.

Other stars to receive multiple nominations include Drake with six, Ariana Grande with five and Rihanna with four.

The ceremony will take place on August 28, 2016 at Madison Square Garden.

You can vote for Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Female Video and the new Best Long Form Video category at vma.mtv.com, while voting for Best New Artist will stay open through the VMAs pre-show.
