Last year, Barbara Walters confirmed she was leaving her talk show The View, and now we finally know her TV departure date.
Walters is set to make her final appearance on The View on May 16th.
While The View host will be leaving her seat open for someone else, she’ll still be involved behind the scenes as an executive producer.
After she leaves, ABC are going to run a two-hour primetime special on her career. They also announced Barbara will forever be a part of the ABC news team and will make special appearances as news warrants.
