Angus Young

Angus YoungGuitarist Angus Young joined Guns N’ Roses on stage at Coachella on Saturday to give a sample of what AC/DC would sound like with lead singer Axl Rose.

Hours before Guns N’ Roses’ much anticipated reunion at the festival, Axl Rose was announced as AC/DC’s new lead singer.

The announcement nearly overshadowed their performance.

Rose, who has a fractured foot, welcomed Angus Young onto the stage to “put a little life into things for us.”

They performed “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff” alongside GNR members Slash and Duff McKagan.

Rose is replacing longtime singer Brian Johnson who has hearing issues.

After the Coachella performance, Rose will join AC/DC for 10 performances in Europe and then begin the Not in This Lifetime tour with Guns N’ Roses.
