Splendour In The Grass 2016 Lineup

Finally, after the hype and the torture, the official line-up for this year’s Splendour In The Grass has been announced!

Headlining the biggest winter music party in Australia is The Stokes, one of New York’s finest. They’ll be performing alongside legendary rock bands The Cure, James Blake, Santigold, Sigur Ros, Jake Bugg, The Kills, Jack Garratt, Snakehips, The Internet and the reunited post-hardcore band, At The Drive-In.

Big names are representing Australia such as Flume, Courtney Barnett, Violent Soho, Gang of Youths, Ball Park Music, Sticky Fingers, Hermitude, Matt Corby, Illy, The Preatures, and DMA’s.

There are plenty more artists in the line-up but one of the most anticipated acts is The Avalanches. The electronic music group will be performing exclusively at Splendour in their first live show in forever.

Tickets go on sale on moshtix.com.au on Thursday April 21 at 9am AEST for the three-day event. The event will be held on July 22 (Friday), 23 (Saturday) and 24 (Sunday). Check out the full list of this year’s performers and let us know who you’re excited to see in the comments below!
