It’s that time of the year again. VMA’s time!
The stars dominated New York City’s Madison Square Garden on August 28 for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Newbies and established megastars alike were looking to take home their own coveted Moonman trophy but unsurprisingly, Beyonce took the lead with 11 nominations and Adele cutting it close with 8.
The night saw show stopping performances from a bounty of artists but Rihanna dominated the stage when she performed many of her songs, ranging from her hit classics such as Don’t Stop the Music to her more recent successes Work and Better Have My Money.
DNCE scored themselves a Moonman after claiming the Best New Artist title but Queen B has done it again, taking home 8 of her 11 nominations.
